They installed a black piece of plastic where they should have installed a clear piece. This piece allows you to see if your turn signals are on and some people might be able to see it from behind as well.
Installation:
Just unscrew your turn signal housings, remove the plastic covers, break off the black plastic piece and install these. Then reinstall everything.
